The Director of FP&A serves as a strategic finance leader responsible for driving financial planning, performance analysis, and value creation across the organization. This role partners closely with the CFO, executive leadership team, private equity sponsors, lenders, and the Board of Directors to deliver actionable insights that support EBITDA growth, cash flow optimization, and strategic decision-making.

This individual will lead the company’s forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning processes while building scalable financial models and enhancing reporting capabilities in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environment.

• Act as a key advisor to the CFO and executive team on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
• Translate operational drivers (volume, pricing, labor, plant efficiency, commodity costs) into financial outcomes
• Provide scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support pricing strategy, margin expansion, and capital allocation
• Partner with operations, sales, and supply chain to drive accountability against financial targets
• Partner with CFO on lender reporting, covenant tracking, and liquidity forecasting
• Support interactions with banks and lenders, including borrowing base support and refinancing efforts
• Develop cash flow projections and working capital analysis to optimize liquidity and capital structure

• Lead the annual budget, monthly reforecast, and long‑range planning (LRP) processes
• Develop and maintain integrated 3‑statement financial models (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
• Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis and actionable insights
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance
• Leverage Prophix (or similar FP&A tools) for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting automation
• Utilize Sage X3 ERP data to drive accurate, real‑time financial insights and operational analytics

• Prepare and deliver board‑level materials, including performance reviews, variance analysis, and forward‑looking projections
• Build investor‑ready presentations highlighting EBITDA drivers, working capital trends, and strategic initiatives
• Support ad hoc requests from private equity sponsors, including deep‑dive analyses and value creation tracking
• Assist in preparation of investment theses, strategic reviews, and exit readiness materials

• Identify and drive EBITDA improvement opportunities across pricing, cost structure, and operational efficiency
• Lead analysis on cost drivers including labor, commodities, freight, and overhead
• Support M&A activity including financial modeling, diligence, and integration planning
• Implement best‑in‑class FP&A processes and tools to improve speed and accuracy of insights
• Build and lead a high‑performing FP&A team
• Standardize reporting processes and improve financial systems and data integrity
• Drive adoption of data‑driven decision‑making across the organization

• 8–12+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership roles
• Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or industrial manufacturing strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a private equity–backed environment highly preferred
• Demonstrated exposure to board presentations, investor relations, and lender interactions
• Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and operational finance
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Deep understanding of cost accounting, margin drivers, and plant operations
• Proficiency with Sage X3 ERP and/or similar enterprise systems
• Experience with Prophix or comparable FP&A / corporate performance management tools
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear executive‑level insights
• Strong communication skills with ability to present to CFO, CEO, Board, and investors
• High sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
