Sales Assistant
Liberty FCU is currently seeking a Sales Assistant for its service-centered financial services program with exceptional organizational and communication skills. Candidates must exhibit professionalism, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills as well as be detail-oriented. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires quite a lot of report creation and taking incoming client calls. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
Financial services knowledge is preferred.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist Financial Advisors in managing the needs of the membership and clients by working on the Liberty Wealth Services team to achieve a common goal of providing high quality financial management services to credit union membership and clients.
- Provide administrative support to the Financial Advisors.
- Process mail, type memos, order supplies, manage calendars, etc.
- Maintain member marketing lists.
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional, knowledgeable and service-oriented manner.
- Handle the needs of the member/client in a timely manner.
- Schedule appointments.
- Take messages in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Direct member or client needs to the proper service area of the credit union when necessary.
- Assist Financial Advisors by preparing members' file and account information, assist in completion of paperwork after the appointment, assist in managing the service and follow-up needs of members/clients after and/or before an appointment.
- Administer client/member seminars, including:
- Working with CU marketing and CUNA for seminar invitation creation and target marketing.
- Organization of all aspects of seminar, including room preparation, menu and attendee list.
- Maintaining a thorough, organized and quantifiable metric system to measure seminar successes.
