Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The role involves managing all payroll activities and ensuring their accuracy and timeliness in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of Construction, Variance Analysis, Canadian and US payroll, Reconciliation, and Davis Bacon is required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Process and manage all aspects of payroll for both Canadian and US employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.Reconcile payroll data and ensure accurate reporting and recording of payroll transactions.Ensure compliance with Davis Bacon Act requirements in all payroll functions.Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to integrate payroll data with other business systems.Prepare and deliver payroll reports for review by management.Stay updated on changes in payroll and tax laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.Participate in internal and external audits related to payroll and provide necessary documentation and information.Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in the Construction industry.Proven experience with Variance Analysis, Canadian and US payroll, Reconciliation, and Davis Bacon.Strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations.Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.Proficient in using payroll software and other related systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team.Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.Equal Employment Opportunity
