Student Nurse Academy; SNA – Summer

The Student Nurse Academy is designed for student nurses who have completed their first clinical experience in a nursing program. As students progress through their education and continue to build knowledge and skills, they are given opportunities to further enhance their technical abilities. Students gain hands-on experience using clinical equipment and performing patient care procedures in a hospital setting while working in precepted environments under the direct supervision of experienced registered nurses.

Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:

Currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program (AACN, CCNE, or ACEN)

Active BLS certification

• Submission of unofficial transcript

Completion of at least one semester of clinical rotations
