Front Office Assistant

The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time, energetic and results driven Front Office Assistant to join our team in Evansville, IN.

The Front Office Assistant serves an essential role, primarily answering phone calls, directing inquiries, and performing clerical tasks to ensure efficient operations. This position acts as backup to the client intake specialist, assisting with client interactions, check-ins, and intake processes as needed.

• Direct telephone calls to appropriate personnel for all agency programs.
• Page and take messages, as needed, for staff.
• Create intake files for upcoming evaluations/appointments.
• Complete client reminder phone calls.
• Scan/upload miscellaneous documents into client medical charts.
• Process outgoing client documents.
• Assist with ticket sales as needed for Easterseals.
• Assist in rescheduling clients due to staff absence or center cancels.
• Greet and check in clients.
• Accept payments and issue receipts for client accounts and insurance co-pays.
• Scan insurance cards and complete demographic/insurance profile.
• Assist clients in completing consent for treatment and release forms.
• Provide routine clerical duties as necessary.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED
• Experience with Microsoft Office software
• Experience with the use electronic medical records systems
• Excellent client service skills
• Strong organizational skills
