Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Evansville, Indiana.

  Float:
  First to float within skillset. Potential to float to Deaconess Newburgh (IN) within 8 miles and Deaconess Henderson (KY) within 11 miles. 2‑hour notice for cross‑campus float; mid‑shift float within same campus. Cross‑campus mid‑shift float unlikely but possible.
• On‑Call/Call Back: N/A
• Weekend/Holiday:
  Three weekends per six‑week schedule; every other holiday.

• Current active compact license
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• NIHSS

• 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience
• 1 travel assignment
• Trauma Level II experience
• Recent EPIC charting experience (will require check‑off class)
• Patient population:
  Med/Surg – post‑surgical, UTI, sepsis, high fall risk, COPD, CHF
• Skillset: remote tele; chest tubes; NG/PEG tubes; straight cath/Foley; ostomies; heparin drips; blood/blood product administration; tracheostomy care; PCA management
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills; hard worker, resilient, social candidates

• 41 beds;
  Ratio days 1:4–5; NOCs 1:6–7
• Unit strengths: experienced leadership, CNA support
• Scrubs – no competing health systems or agency logos
• 3 call‑ins may result in termination
• Teaching hospital; may require precepting of students & new hires
