In the Role
- Champion and lead the One Main Enterprise Patch Management Program Strategy.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Risk, Dev Ops, Engineering and Cybersecurity to govern patching and identify threats and weaknesses in One Main endpoints and applications.
- Provide Patch Management expertise and advice to IT leadership.
- Lead and mentor teams and sub-teams of Managers, Engineers and Analysts. Participate in career development and recognition activities. Foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Research vulnerabilities and determine impact on the computing environment and maintain a risk-based approach in prioritizing vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to streamline activities for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Utilize vulnerability scanning tools to validate remediation efforts and Identify vulnerabilities.
- Determine the root cause of problems through analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Participate in technology lifecycle management activities. Perform project management activities.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, databases and web applications.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and processes.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, performance reporting metrics and documentation.
- Identify ways to improve, simplify and automate activities and processes.
- Familiarity with a wide range of technology support and patch deployment tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science or related field) and 6- 8 years’ experience in IT engineering.
- Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and leadership skills with the ability to make recommendations and explain patch management lifecycle concepts to all levels of the organization.
- 4+ years’ experience with IT vulnerability remediation, patch management and security.
- 4+ years of team management/leadership experience.
- Proven track record of implementing and managing a successful Enterprise Patch Management Program.
- Expert knowledge of patch lifecycle management concepts.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience with all elements of change management.
- Proven capacity to work independently and manage multiple, completing demands.
- Ability to travel domestically.
Target base salary range is $150K-$180K which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive compensation program that is based on individual and company performance
