Are you passionate about logistics and trade compliance in a constantly evolving environment? Envalior is seeking a talented Customs & Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain management team. The role requires deep expertise in customs compliance activities across North America, ensuring duty drawback and Free Trade Agreement qualifications are met while managing inbound shipments with brokerage and drayage providers.
Responsibilities- Ensure duty drawback and Free Trade Agreement qualifications are compliant.
- Manage the processing of inbound shipments in partnership with brokerage and drayage providers.
- Collate and maintain vendor KPIs on a monthly basis.
- Act as the focal point for regional preferential treatment qualifications in SAP GTS, issuing certificates annually and fielding ad‑hoc requests.
- Maintain customs‑related material master data (HTS code and country of origin) in SAP ECC, ensuring global consistency and accuracy.
- Assist the inbound process until goods receipt in the warehouse, coordinating with the drayage provider and the Regional Warehouse Manager.
- Prioritize incoming containers with the brokerage provider to avoid delays and detention costs.
- Develop and maintain expertise on supply chain best practices and customs regulations, using continuing education to stay compliant with evolving regulations.
- Create ad‑hoc reports on inbound order flows and drayage provider performance.
- Foster an inclusive and innovative environment across teams and prioritize safety protocols to prevent unsafe situations.
- Drive initiatives aligned with Envalior’s commitment to sustainability and exploration of new materials and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with US HTS code and product classification processes.
- Strong knowledge of Free Trade Agreements, especially USMCA, and related qualification methods.
- Understanding of global logistics and import/export regulations.
- Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP, with Master Data functionality knowledge.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi‑cultural environment.
- Logistics planning experience, preferably with ocean and air freight.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple external vendors.
- Experience managing multiple work streams simultaneously and working independently with initiative.
