Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the Production Team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Evansville, IN

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11PM - 7:30AM

Pay Range: $22/hr+, rate depends on experience

What’s the Job?
  • Maintain and Repair Equipment – Perform routine and emergency maintenance on plant machinery, including troubleshooting, part replacement, and mechanical repairs
  • Install and Fabricate Machinery – Support operations by installing new equipment and fabricating components or tools as needed
  • Execute Preventive Maintenance – Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks (TPM), maintain accurate downtime records, and ensure safety procedures like Lockout-Tagout are followed
  • Support Safety and Environmental Standards – Adhere to company policies for hazardous waste handling, recycling programs, and emergency response procedures
  • Collaborate and Communicate – Train new maintenance team members as needed, coordinate with cross-functional teams on equipment updates, and communicate maintenance activities across shifts
What’s Needed?
  • High school diploma or GED required – technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or mechanical repair in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Experience with equipment installation, fabrication, and welding is a plus
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Understanding of safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling protocols
  • Basic computer skills; ability to use maintenance software and communicate via email
  • Physical ability to stand, lift, climb, and work in various plant conditions
