AW Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform checks on the line of printed items, including UPC scans, visual inspection, tape testing, IPA testing, Sutherland rub, and all other tests required by customers.
• Enter NCMRs, contain, and place suspect product on hold.
• Challenge metal detectors and skid scanners.
• Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods.
• Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customer.
• Assist with pulling micro‑samples monthly.
• Help prepare audit materials (IMS, Customer, ISO, and SQF).
• Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements.

• High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Printing Operator (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Computer skills (proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word or the ability to learn).
• Ability to travel as necessary.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to communicate with customers and auditors in a professional manner.
• Knowledge of C‑Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS and HACCP.
