Manufacturing Process Manager Overview
As Manufacturing Process Manager, oversee all plant manufacturing functions focusing on safety, quality, delivery, efficiency and cost reduction. Supervise production staff, build team culture through coaching and mentoring, and manage key process indicators.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- 3 years of leadership experience.
- Budget management background.
- Background in the steel industry with welding processes and techniques (preferred).
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; capable of creating and managing spreadsheets, reports, and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Hands‑on role orientation; eager to learn.
- Comfortable working in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
- Dedication to safety, organization and continuous improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage Compass shipping, scheduling and delivery.
- Report on weekly forecast tons and hours.
- Communicate quality changes, inspections, drawings, root cause and corrective action.
- Understand tolerances and fabrication requirements.
- Create process goals and monitor efficiency.
- Administer inventory control.
- Mentor new hires and employee department transfers.
- Ensure all inspections are complete.
- Maintain employee work schedules in payroll system.
- Collaborate with team to make impact.
Other duties may be assigned. Additional job competencies, individual goals, and performance measurements are set at the department level.
