What We Need:A detail oriented individual to coordinate and promote consistent and accurate material kits. You will also supervise and lead fulfillment material handlers.
What You Will Do:- Lead and organize the daily inventory for the department.
- Lead and organize material kitting for jobs and SROs.
- Participate in the Company's physical inventory functions (both physical and cycle counting).
- Assist in identifying material kit shortages and missing components.
- Provide clear direction to Material Handlers related to missing or unavailable kitted materials.
- Maintain and report out on KPI sheet for the department.
- Partner with other departments to achieve full kits.
- Provide status updates of kits as needed.
- Identify and assist with training needs and individual development plans.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Complete and deliver employee performance reviews for department personnel.
- Maintain employee records such as the training matrix as needed.
- Address performance areas in consultation with Human Resources as needed.
- Actively participate in the recruitment and hiring of employees for the Fulfillment team.
- Utilize forklift and other position‑specific machinery safely as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Seven years of experience in Inventory and/or Material Handling in a similar industry and two years in a foreman and/or leadership position in a shop or similar environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties
