About Us

For 130 years, Anchor Industries has built commercial tents, shade systems, awnings, pergolas, pool covers, and other engineered fabric products in the U.S. Our name stands for innovation, craftsmanship, and customer care across industries.

A Day in the Role

You clock in, review work orders and prints, and set up your station. Using industrial sewing machines, radio frequency fabric welders, grommet machines, and other production tools, you prepare materials with tape measures, chalk lines, rulers, squares, scissors, and marking pencils. You load and feed material—manually or via automated systems—check alignment, and fine-tune machine settings. Throughout the run, you monitor output, verify dimensions, and record counts, defects, and rework with precision.

Between jobs, you perform routine checks, make minor adjustments, and keep your area clean and organized. You move work-in-process and finished goods with jack trucks, hand carts, or push carts, coordinate with teammates to hit targets, and follow all safety and environmental procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Run production equipment per work instructions, prints, and specifications.
  • Operate industrial sewing, RF fabric welding, and grommeting equipment to produce high-quality parts.
  • Measure, mark, cut, and validate materials using shop measuring and hand tools.
  • Perform basic maintenance and adjust settings to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Load materials by hand or with automated feeders and monitor throughput and quality.
  • Document quantities, defects, and errors accurately.
  • Transport materials and finished goods using jack trucks, hand carts, and push carts.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals.
  • Keep work areas orderly and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
