Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and strong teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization.  This is a Direct Hire opportunity with benefits.

** Pay Range:**  $31.30 plus Sign-On Bonus of $2500

** Shift:
** 3rd Shift (10pm-630am) Monday-Friday

** What's the Job?*
* + Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating and executing maintenance activities to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient facility.

+ Perform repairs on plant equipment, install new machinery, and conduct building maintenance as directed.

+ Lead and assist fellow team members in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control systems.

+ Operate hand tools, power tools, welders, and cutting equipment to maintain and modify equipment.

+ Ensure safety protocols are followed by all employees, contractors, and visitors, promoting a culture of safety and quality.

** What's Needed?*
* + Two-year degree in Industrial Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, or related field.

+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

+ Strong electrical troubleshooting and control systems experience.

+ Proficiency with mechanical repairs, welding, electrical troubleshooting, and PLC systems.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent problem-solving skills.
