RN Unit Manager
Location: River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation – Evansville, IN
River Bend Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead our nursing team at our skilled nursing facility in Evansville, IN. This full-time weekday leadership role offers a strong work-life balance while providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care and clinical outcomes.
Position OverviewAs the RN Unit Manager, you will provide leadership, supervision, and clinical oversight for an assigned nursing unit. You will ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination among interdisciplinary team members. This role partners closely with physicians, residents, families, and the Director of Nursing to promote exceptional clinical performance and a culture of accountability.
Schedule- Monday–Friday, Day Shift
- On-call rotation required
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
- Oversee care planning and coordination in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies.
- Monitor documentation, assessments, and clinical outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and families.
- Assist with survey readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
- Promote staff development, training, and performance management.
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Supervisory experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and clinical best practices in skilled nursing facilities.
