Working 27.5 hours per week, your schedule will be weekdays from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. You’ll make a meaningful impact on the well‑being of students by providing skilled nursing care, collaborating with educators, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience- Current, valid RN license in the state of Indiana
- Experience as a school nurse or in pediatric settings preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Comfortable communicating with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate records
- Provide daily nursing care for students, including medication administration and management of chronic health conditions
- Respond swiftly to illness or injuries occurring during school hours
- Conduct health screenings and maintain up-to-date health documentation
- Educate students and staff about healthy habits, wellness, and medical conditions
- Collaborate with faculty and families to create safe care plans tailored to individual student needs
