Join our leadership team as a Director of Nursing (DON) at our skilled nursing facility in Evansville, IN.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic nursing leader to oversee our exceptional clinical team and drive excellence in resident care. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing services to ensure the delivery of high‑quality resident care.

  • Schedule, assign, and support nursing staff to optimize workflow, staffing efficiency, and resident outcomes.

  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment that prioritizes resident‑centered care.

  • Serve as a key resource for residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team by facilitating effective communication.

  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure significant changes are communicated promptly to physicians and responsible parties.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing long‑term care.

  • Collaborate with facility leadership to achieve clinical, operational, and quality improvement goals.

  • Lead staff development initiatives, mentoring, and performance management efforts.

  • Support quality assurance and performance improvement programs.

Qualifications
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.

  • Minimum of one year of nursing leadership experience in a long‑term care setting, preferably as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Director of Nursing (DON).

  • Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing care.

  • Experience working with the geriatric population preferred.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
