Patient Safety Attendant - Resource Team (PSA)

Deaconess - 600 Mary Street - Responsibilities:
Provide continuous observation of patients identified as high risk for falls, self-injury, wandering, or other safety concerns;
Monitor patient behavior and report changes in condition, escalating behaviors, pain, discomfort, or safety risks to nursing staff;
Alert staff to episodes of wandering or attempted elopement;
Promote a safe environment by remaining attentive and responsive to patient needs;
Assist with personal hygiene and basic patient care activities as directed by a Registered Nurse
