As a PCT on SMCC, you’ll work side‑by‑side with nurses to provide hands‑on care for surgical and medical patients. You’ll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and compassionate support — including care for patients nearing the end of life. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful patient interaction, real clinical exposure, and a team that helps you grow.

What You’ll Gain

You’ll gain strong clinical confidence by caring for trauma, post‑operative, bariatric, GU, head and neck, and complex wound‑care patients. Every shift builds skills in vital signs, mobility support, ADLs, patient monitoring, communication, and safety practices. You’ll join a team known for positivity, collaboration, and strong communication — a place where learning is encouraged and wins are celebrated.

  • Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers
  • Monitor and record vital signs

  • Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
