American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVICU RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring critical care/cardiac critical care and open heart recovery experience.

• 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3
• Patient population includes post-surgical management for cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, thoracotomies, TAVRs, and post complex PCI interventions
• Performs post-open heart and post-cardiac procedure care including central line, arterial line, and chest tube placements
• Uses Edwards and GE monitoring systems and SWAN Ganz catheters
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Background in Critical Care or Cardiac Critical Care required
• Open heart recovery and post-cardiac procedure recovery experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required

• Provide post-surgical and post-procedural cardiovascular critical care
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date

Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
