Midtown Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7

Float Requirement:
First to float within skillset. Newburgh (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Henderson (KY 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible. On Call/Call Back Requirement: N/AWeekend/Holiday Requirement:
Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.

Required Certs to be attached upon submittal:
Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS.Minimum Experience

REQUIRED:

Two years of strong Med/Surg and 1 travel assignment.

Charting

Experience:

Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Patient Population:
Cardiac (chest pain, stress test/Lexiscan, post cath without intervention), CVA/TIA, hypotensive, syncope/dizziness, SOB, post-surgical, GI/Urology pre/post procedure, AKI, cellulitis, detox/CIWA.Skillset:
Cardiac cath recovery (femoral/TR bands), post-surgical care (appy, chole, stones), NIHSS/Neuro assessment/dysphagia screen, initiate/titrate drips (Heparin, Insulin), indwelling drain management, straight cath/foley care, NG tube insertion, blood administration/documentation. Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Unit Information: 23 beds. Ratio: Days ) 1:4-5; PMs ) 1:5-6; Nights ) 1:6-7 CN takes patient assignment on all shifts

Welcoming to travelers, great teamwork. Manager has been with organization over 22 years and manages the two units in the hospital with the lowest turnover.

Navy blue scrubs No hoodies or sweatshirts. No competing health systems or agency logos
