American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics unit on day shift, requiring ACLS certification and prior post-surgical orthopedic experience.
Details- 24-bed Med/Surg Orthopedics unit
- RN ratios of up to 6 patients per nurse
- Patient population consists of postoperative adults recovering from orthopedic, total joint replacement, podiatry, and spine surgeries
- Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
- 13-week assignment length
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification through AHA required
- ACLS certification required
- Previous post-orthopedic surgery nursing experience preferred
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Provide post-surgical care and monitoring to orthopedic patients recovering from joint replacement, podiatry, and spine procedures
- Local candidates accepted, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required
