AW Quality Assurance Inspector

• Perform checks on line of printed items (UPC scans, visual inspection, tape testing, IPA testing, Sutherland rub, and all other tests required by customers)
• Enter NCMRs, contain and place suspect product on hold
• Challenge metal detectors
• Challenge skid scanners
• Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods
• Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customer
• Help pull micro samples monthly
• Help to prepare AW for audits (IMS, customer, ISO and SQF)
• Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements

• High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent
• Prior experience as a printing operator (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Computer skills (proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word or the ability to learn)
• Ability to travel as necessary
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Ability to communicate with customers and auditors in a professional manner
• Knowledge of C-Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS and HACCP
