Responsibilities

Perform checks on line of printed items (UPC scans, visual inspection, tape testing, IPA testing, Sutherland rub, and other tests required by customers).

Enter nonconforming materials (NCMRs) and contain and place suspect product on hold.

Challenge metal detectors and skid scanners as part of quality assurance.

Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods.

Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customers.

Pull micro samples monthly as required.

Assist in preparing for audits (IMS, customer, ISO, and SQF).

Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements.

Qualifications

High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent.

Prior experience as a Printing Operator (preferred).

Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

Computer skills: proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word or the ability to learn.

Ability to travel as necessary.

Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Ability to communicate with customers and auditors in a professional manner.

Knowledge of C-Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS, and HACCP.
