The Outside Sales Representative (Flooring Solutions) will be responsible for generating profitable business from the range of equipment that the profit center specializes in. This includes developing the assigned territory, implementing sales plans to grow business and maintain the current customer base, and helping to build the national Sunbelt brand identity.
- Generate profitable business from equipment specialized in flooring solutions.
- Develop assigned territory and implement sales plans to grow business.
- Maintain current customer base and build Sunbelt branding.
- Apply solution‑selling approach and technical background to support engineering concepts.
- Manage project, new business development, and customer retention tasks.
- Adhere to safety requirements and perform physical demands (bending, squatting, lifting 25 lbs or more, working indoors/outdoors).
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in equipment rental or concrete surface prep and polishing industry.
- At least 2+ years of direct sales experience.
- Solution‑selling and project management skills.
- Technical aptitude for learning engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in new business development and customer retention.
Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $58,168.00. Total compensation package includes base pay, company vehicle, and robust commission plan. Starting rate of pay may vary by position, location, education, training and experience.
