National Fuel Sales Intern: Growth, CRM, & Quotes

Driving our continued expansion is our National Fuel Sales (NFS) team, a fast-paced, results-oriented group specializing in fuel brokerage across more than 25 states, delivering competitive diesel and gasoline solutions through strong market expertise and supplier relationships.

The National Fuel Sales Intern will be assigned a base of existing house accounts in which they will be expected to maintain and grow sales volume and gross profit. In addition, they will also assist with administrative tasks and special projects. A strong sense of organization and self-motivation is required. This person will be expected to organize, manage, and develop relationships with customers and prospects.

They will gain knowledge of the industry, products, and services. This position will represent and communicate Heritage Petroleum products, services, policies, procedures, and programs to the customer/prospect.

• Manage the sales process from cash to close.
• Gather and provide technical information both internally and externally.
• Maintain and record CRM activities.
• Prepare and build quotes.
• Monitor fuel levels and initiate orders on keep full tanks.
• Work directly with our Fuel Operations and Customer Support teams on submitting orders.
• Enter prices daily into the back-office system.
• Monitor Sales Reports to ensure GP and Gallon accuracy.
• Function within the guidelines of the Heritage Petroleum Employee Handbook and Mission Statement.
