Mercor is seeking a candidate with graduate-level expertise in Seismology & Geophysics to design computational problems for AI reasoning evaluation. You will work with scientific software such as Obs Py or SPECFEM and calibrate tasks against AI models.
The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Python and a strong ability to independently iterate on problem designs. This role requires a minimum commitment of 15–20 hours per week.
