Facilities Technician

The Facilities Technician will maintain or improve building facilities by making necessary repairs and/or replacing malfunctioning parts and work with outside contractors on expansion/improvement needs. The work will vary but you will use a work order system to track planned and completed work. Technicians may also be assigned periodically on trips to assist in the rigging of equipment.

• Perform routine inspections of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
• Repair doors, windows, flooring, lighting, and other structural components
• Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when necessary
• Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and renovations

• Possess a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and enjoyment of variety in your work
• Previous experience in a facilities role
• Ability to use hand tools, read equipment and maintenance manuals, and read schematic drawings
• Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units or measurements
• 480 3-phase knowledge and HVAC experience are highly preferred

• Valid driver’s license and the physical ability to frequently lift over 50 pounds
