Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer, Building Maintenance, Installation Technician
The Facilities Technician will maintain or improve building facilities by making necessary repairs and/or replacing malfunctioning parts and work with outside contractors on expansion/improvement needs. The work will vary but you will use a work order system to track planned and completed work. Technicians may also be assigned periodically on trips to assist in the rigging of equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
- Repair doors, windows, flooring, lighting, and other structural components
- Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors when necessary
- Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and renovations
- Possess a strong work ethic, great attention to detail, and enjoyment of variety in your work
- Previous experience in a facilities role
- Ability to use hand tools, read equipment and maintenance manuals, and read schematic drawings
- Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units or measurements
- 480 3-phase knowledge and HVAC experience are highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license and the physical ability to frequently lift over 50 pounds
