Welder

Our client, Industrial Filter Manufacturers is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Welding team supporting Production. The ideal candidate will have good communication, strong work ethics and time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: IN, Evansville, 10244 Hedden Rd,

Pay Range:19hr

What’s the Job?

• Must be able to pass MIG/TIG welding certifications that meet the required standards for ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1
• Read and understand blue prints and welding symbols for fabrication
• Create and maintain a safe and sanitary working environment
• Utilizes lift/hoist system for heavy jobs
• Utilizes appropriate safety gear while performing work activities including heat resistant clothing, welding mask, steel toe shoes and face screen

What’s Needed?

• 1+ year of related experience
• Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding, ASME Section VIII standards and familiarity with GTAW welding standards required
• Must be able to pass code welding certification
• Lifting up to 50 pounds manually and additional weight using a pully/hoist system
• Ability to read a tape measure
