Job Description SUMMARY
Responsibilities- Repair and preventive maintenance of all operating equipment, including support equipment as assigned.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, robotics and program issues with molding and lining machines, as well as all support equipment.
- Read electrical and hydraulic print to perform required maintenance and service.
- Understand PLC, RS Logic, and robotics to test equipment and make adjustments.
- Perform daily PMs and maintain the proper paperwork.
- Diagnose issues and provide solutions and ways to improve machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair additional equipment or issues as they arise.
- Install machine electrical, plumbing, and interface with all other systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure continuous operations.
- Provide general facilities maintenance.
- Comply with safety regulations and established lean manufacturing principles, including Food Safety and cGMP policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED with 2+ years experience in maintenance for a manufacturing company.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.
- Problem‑solving in standardized situations involving several concrete variables.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Knowledge of plumbing and welding is beneficial.
- Advanced technical training or applied experience with hydraulics, industrial electricity, electronics, and control systems.
- Excellent print‑reading (schematic) capabilities.
- Additional training may be required to retain the position.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 10 lbs, and frequently lift up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
