- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks
- Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks
- Maintain a service van and its inventory
- Process paperwork after completion of each job
- Provide field service support for customers
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
- Technical degree preferred
- Previous lift truck repair preferred
- Welding experience preferred
- Knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred
- Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder, and various testing equipment
- Ability to read and understand service manuals
- Ability to plan and follow through
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided
Demonstrates strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair lift trucks, including knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines. Proficient in reading schematics and service manuals, with effective communication and customer care skills.
