** Hillcrest Youth Services
** is currently seeking a
** 1st Shift, Weekends,*
* ** PRN (part-time, as-needed) Youth Worker
** to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role is responsible for the supervision and support of youth in our residential program.

** WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
*** Supervision of residents.
* *
* Work schedule:

First Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Applicants must be available a minimum of three (3) days per month. A 2-week training program (Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) is required upon hire.
*** Ability to be a positive role model.
* Provide fair and constructive discipline to the residents.
* Maintain security and safety of facility and residents at all times.
* Maintain complete and accurate resident records.
* Ability to manage personal stress.
* Administer appropriate medication(s).
* Knowledge of policy and procedure manual.
* Transportation of residents.
* Maintain laundry and general cleaning for each unit.
* Ability to work with youth of all ages.
* Screen all admissions/referrals for appropriateness of Hillcrest's programming.## Qualifications
** WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
*** Must be 21 years old.
* High school diploma or GED required.  Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a closely related Human Services field is highly preferred.

* Work schedule:

*** Previous work with juveniles highly preferred.
* Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
* Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
* Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
* Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
