Truck Driver - CDL Class A

Position Overview:

Lewis Bakeries located in Evansville, IN is hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers to provide commercial vehicle operations through the tri-state area.

Wayne, Vincennes, and Evansville, Indiana, and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Our heritage has been one of quality and reliability since 1925.

Responsibilities:

* Operate company owned and leased trucks over 4 ton to facilitate shipping/receiving operations

* Operate trucks for the delivery and unloading of bakery product

* Perform required pre/post maintenance checks and provide required reports

* Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations

* Maintain all required certifications required by DOT

* Comply with safety policies, procedures and DOT regulations

* Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition

* Perform other duties as needed to support and improve overall department operations.

Work Schedule:

* Routes are worked 5 days a week, with Tuesday and Saturdays being the general off days

* Shifts may start in between 9:00am-12:00pm and ends when route is complete (roughly 10 hours)

* Route schedules and off days may be adjusted to accommodate holiday schedules

Compensation:

* Weekly guarantee is $1,150 | $65,000 - $95,000 earning potential per year!

* Pay is based on several variables such as rate per mile, stop pay, scheduled increases, bonus potential, etc.
