Operate commercial vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating over 26,001 lbs to deliver or pick up merchandise, materials, and equipment to assigned regional and/or local destination and/or customers in a timely fashion;
Perform daily vehicle inspections (as defined by FMCSA) to ensure trucks are roadworthy and safety equipment is functional;
Load and unload vehicles as required and secure cargo for transport (may include tarps);
Use electronic logging device (ELD) to log daily activities as required by FMCSA;
Read bills of lading and manifests to determine assignment details and obtain receipts/signatures when required
