PositionFull‑time Linehaul Driver — Evansville, IN Terminal (Based out of Madisonville, Kentucky; orientation and training out of the Evansville, IN terminal).
Wage: $0.78 per mile increased to $0.81 per mile after the first year.
Shift: Monday - Friday, Overnight.

Quarterly Safety Incentive Bonus- $250 per quarter
- Earn up to $1,000 annually based on eligibility
Driving a tractor‑trailer long distance between terminal locations to pick up and drop off freight.
Essential Functions- Drive a commercial vehicle safely while transporting freight between terminals.
- Load and unload trailer, either individually or with assistance of dockworkers. Mechanic freight handling equipment may be used where available and appropriate.
- Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight.
- Secure freight through strapping or other methods.
- Inspect the vehicle for defects and safe operating conditions as required by law and company policy.
- Comply with all Federal requirements regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Drive tractor‑trailer in all conditions in accordance with Federal regulations, observing hours‑of‑service limitations and required off‑duty periods.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations, including driver's logs and other records required by law.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
- Minimum age of 23.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor‑trailer experience.
- Pass a road test administered by a Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer.
- Hold, or obtain within the required time period, Hazardous Material and Tanker endorsements on a current valid driver's license issued by the resident state.
- Possess only one valid driver's license (CDL) issued by the resident state. Recent transfers must provide former license or verification information. Provide information on all licenses held within the previous 36 months.
- No record of DUI / OWI or Reckless Driving within the previous 5 years.
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). examination and functional screen.
- Consent to a pre‑employment drug screen; a negative result is required.
- Negative controlled substances and alcohol results from prior employer(s) for the past three years.
- No instance of refusal to submit to an alcohol or controlled substance test within the past three years.
- Consent to a 10‑year work history check. Gaps of 30 days or more must be listed and explained; discrepancies may prevent processing or result in withdrawal of the offer.
- Ability to read and write English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Employment is at‑will; no guarantee of employment for any period of time.
Physical Requirements
- Gripping of various sizes and weights up to 100 pounds.
- Lifting up to 100 pounds from ground level to 45"; lifting at waist level or 36".
- Front carry up to 100 pounds for 250 feet.
- Push/pull up to 60 pounds of horizontal force.
- Sitting up to 10 hours per day.
- Standing and walking frequently.
- Climbing, squatting, crouching, balancing, or kneeling occasionally.
- Crawling rarely.
- Reaching frequently during gear shifting, moving freight, loading/unloading trailers, and operating steering controls.
- Grasping and handling freight, opening and closing trailer doors, and operating jack controls frequently.
- Speak with coworkers and customers to perform essential functions safely.
- Vision used constantly for driving, reading maps, and inspecting trucks.
- Smell used occasionally to check for leaks.
- Hearing used frequently to detect unusual sounds or warnings.
- Possible exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, wetness, dust, gas, fumes, or chemicals.
