Travel Ultrasound Technologist ​/ Sonographer - Sonography​/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 3+ years of specialty experience and ARDMS/RDMS certification for a role requiring float coverage across three hospital sites.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the specialty
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ARDMS RDMS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Proficient and comfortable with general ultrasound, small parts, and vascular studies (upper and lower extremity venous)
• Experience with OB/GYN ultrasound including fetal survey and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester exams
• Experience with pediatric ultrasound including hips, spine, head, and pylorus/intussusception studies
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Must provide driver s license with address matching demographics

• Inpatient and outpatient Ultrasound department within Radiology
• Patient population spans all ages
• Performs all department tasks including general ultrasound, small parts, vascular studies, OB/GYN, and select pediatric exams
• Day/evening shifts on Wednesday and Thursday, with flexibility for staffing needs on other weekdays
• Rotating weekends including every other Saturday and Sunday
• 10 or 12 hour shifts totaling 32 hours per week
• Holiday coverage is optional, not guaranteed
• Required to float across three sites:
  Everett, Cambridge, and Somerville
• Candidates must be agreeable to floating across all three facility sites
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced local rate
• Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days
• RTO is not guaranteed after confirmation
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
