The Encore Boston Harbor Banquet Set‑Up Porter will be responsible for using equipment to set up for banquets, functions, and events. The Porter will transport materials and inventory in and out of banquet areas.
Job Responsibilities- Adheres to all Encore Boston Harbor core values and property and department standards
- Actively contributes to departmental performance and the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of policies and procedures; records and reports.
- Follows all applicable internal policies, federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and controls property‑wide.
- Delivers and maintains a maximum level of property‑wide service and satisfaction.
- Contributes to company‑wide communication and best practices.
- Keeps informed of all new developments within the department.
- Manages multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines, often in stressful and high‑pressure situations.
- Cleans and maintains public area equipment and assigned premises.
- Removes and compacts trash from floors.
- Keeps the department supply areas organized and clean.
- Performs inventories and delivers/ stocks supplies as required.
- Communicates politely and displays courtesy to internal customers.
- Communicates to superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comments and other relevant information.
- Communicates with co‑workers and supervisor to ensure quality service.
- Routinely performs deep cleaning processes to ensure overall cleanliness of the property.
- Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.
- Maintains relevant knowledge of industry through continuing education and training.
- Performs any other job‑related duties as assigned.

Age, Gaming, and Certifications21 years of age or above.
Will be required to obtain and maintain registration or a license issued by the Massachusetts Gaming Commission.
Education and ExperienceHigh school or equivalent degree preferred.
Language SkillsConversational English required. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
