The MBTA is seeking a Shop Foreperson - Mechanical to oversee the repair and overhaul of mechanical components for Rail Vehicle Maintenance. You will lead a work crew in the brake, wheel, machine, air, and blacksmith shops to ensure equipment is kept in a safe, reliable condition and maintained to MBTA standards.
This supervisory role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, inventory management, and the ability to respond to emergencies as needed.
