ResponsibilitiesThe role of a Registered Nurse (RN) is to comply with CHA Service Standards for welcoming patients. The qualified applicant will provide quality care to our patients in an inpatient medical/surgical/telemetry unit. In this fast‑paced environment, you will assess, plan, implement, and document patient care as well as communicate with patients, families and other health team members effectively. Implementing core measures as indicated.
The RN reports directly to a designated nurse manager, clinical manager or off‑shift manager. Applicants should possess excellent communication, assessment, documentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize as well as a commitment to work with a culturally diverse population.
- BSN Preferred
- Current or conditional MA RN Licensure
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required.
- Proficiency in telemetry and ability to independently interpret telemetry strips preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years current med/surg nursing experience preferred.
