Block scheduling will NOT be offered. The nurse must float between Pre‑Op and PACU.

When working on‑call (one call shift per week), their working shift will be 11:30 a‑10 p, with the on‑call shift from 10 p‑7 a. Weekend on‑call occurs approximately every 4–5 weeks – Saturday 7 a thru Monday 7 a.

Charge capability is highly preferred. Scrub color is provided by the unit. The nurse must work every other major holiday.

• 2+ years of experience in Pre‑Op/PACU, and travel experience (first‑time travelers with great experience may be considered).
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required at the time of submission.
• Active MA license.
• EMR experience preferred (EPIC).

• Pre‑Op / PACU rotate.
• Required drips & medications: PACU occasional pressor (neo, etc.) support.
• Lines of service:
  General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, Ortho (TJ, Sports Med, Podiatry, Hands);
  Vascular (vein ligations, stab phlebectomy, some IR procedures, IR tech assistance);
  Endoscopy also done in OR.
• PACU will also recover IR patients who receive anesthesia.
