Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Registered Nurse at the Cambridge Health Alliance Birth Center, where you will provide exceptional, patient-centered care for expectant parents with low-risk pregnancies. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of families in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient-Centered Care: Deliver compassionate and culturally responsive care, advocating for patient needs and preferences throughout their perinatal journey.
  • Clinical Practice & Judgment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and respond swiftly to patient needs while utilizing clinical data to inform care decisions.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
  • Education: Provide effective patient and family education using evidence-based teaching strategies.
  • Leadership & Professionalism: Contribute to a positive work environment and uphold professional integrity and accountability in all interactions.
  • Patient Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure the highest level of care and documentation accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Licensure: Current or conditional Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
