Part Time Hospital Security Officer – Everett, MA

Pay Rate: $25.00

Schedule: Tues, Thurs & Fri  (24 hours per week)

Requirements:

• Hospital Security experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to receive flu and Covid vaccinations.

• Extensive training and certifications provided by NES: CPR certification
• Metal Detector Training
• CPI (Use of force in hospital setting) certification

• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Remain on post at all times.
• Monitor patients and staff for safety concerns.
• Deescalate situations.
• Provide general admin support, respond to inquiries, and anticipate customers’ needs.
• Review and approve all reports, duty logs, and related documents submitted by security personnel.
• Ensure timely notification of all serious incidents.
• Assist hospital staff with restraints and de-escalation when needed.
• Have basic computer knowledge.
• Maintain effective communications with all assigned security personnel.
• Deliver a memorable and pleasant experience to all customers and vendors.
• Counsel, advise, motivate, and when necessary provide discipline and positive reinforcement to personnel assigned to the location.
• Ensure assigned security personnel are kept up to date on any modifications to procedures, policies, or regulations.
• Work schedule may include evenings or night shifts and weekends/holidays as determined and scheduled annually.
• Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc.
