Occupational Therapist School in Everett, MA

Qualifications:

• Valid and active OT license in Massachusetts
• Experience or interest in providing OT services in school settings
• Familiarity with IEP development and documentation

• Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of students to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy sessions as outlined by students IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes
• Maintain comprehensive records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and legal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for classroom adaptations and interventions
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize student participation and independence
