Software Engineer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Salesforce Developer
* Role will be 1 day onsite in Everett, MA and 4 days remote*
As the Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce and related applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders across project management, architecture, business analysis, and QA to deliver high‑quality Salesforce solutions using industry-standard engineering practices. This role involves new development, enhancement of existing applications, and support across all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will work within a lean/agile delivery model and contribute to the transformation from Salesforce Classic to Salesforce Lightning while performing both development and administrative responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning (LWC, Aura), Apex, and Salesforce data/security models.
- Proven experience building and enhancing UI experiences across Experience Cloud, Lightning App Pages, Flexipages, and Flows.
- Strong background integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and secure authentication methods (OAuth/JWT).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, analysts, and QA teams to deliver Salesforce software components and documentation.
- Perform Lightning Web Component development, integrations, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, rollout, and documentation creation.
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, controllers, test classes, and integrate Salesforce with external systems.
- Support accessibility-compliant design and implement best practices for UI performance and maintainability.
- Contribute to improvements in development methodology and ensure alignment with EOE’s standards.
- Participate in regular standups, sprint ceremonies, and weekly status reporting.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, SFDX, Git Hub/Bitbucket, and Salesforce IDEs (VS Code, Intelli
J). - Experience with AWS cloud solutions.
- Experience in K–12 education or familiarity with curriculum standards.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 requirements.
