Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist/ Collections
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Everett, Washington. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong skills in managing accounts receivable processes, including collections and cash applications. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ensuring accurate billing and maintaining effective communication with clients.

Responsibilities:

- Process and reconcile cash applications to maintain accurate financial records.

- Conduct timely collections of outstanding payments from commercial clients.

- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and address overdue balances.

- Manage billing functions to ensure invoices are issued correctly and on time.

- Track and analyze cash activity to support financial operations.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and improve processes.

- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of all accounts receivable transactions.

- Communicate effectively with clients to address payment inquiries and establish strong relationships.

- Support the preparation of reports related to accounts receivable metrics and performance. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.

- Proficiency in cash applications and commercial collections processes.

- Strong understanding of billing procedures and accounts receivable aging.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

- Effective communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration.

- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.

- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
