Job Description
We are a small but fast growing firm looking for a senior level accountant who likes working with small to midsized businesses and individuals to provide tax preparation, tax planning and accounting services.
Responsibilities- Prepare federal and state corporate, partnership, individual, trust and estate, nonprofit tax returns
- Make projections on future tax liabilities based on various options and make recommendations during the tax planning process
- Provide year end accounting support to business clients, preparation of journal entries, organized work papers and planning
- Preparation of compiled and reviewed financial statements
- Research tax issues
- Assist with client bookkeeping issues and setup
- Preparation of quarterly payroll and sales tax returns
- Other projects as assigned
- Bachelors in accounting
- 3+ Years public accounting experience
- CPA or CPA track preferred3
