Bilingual Payroll Assistant

Job Description

Our Everett-based accounting firm seeks a knowledgeable, friendly, and detail-oriented payroll specialist to perform payroll processing duties and ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Process payroll with different cycles for multiple clients
• Filing of payroll taxes and tax liabilities payments for multiple clients. Providing a high level of customer service by directly interacting with clients.
• Assist with other accounting projects in the office, if needed.

• 2 plus years’ experience managing payroll preferable but will train right candidate.
• Strong experience in Quick Books Desktop and QBO.
• Bilingual. Fluent in English and Spanish. Read, write, and speak. (Required). Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, primarily Excel and Word.
• Attention to detail is an absolute must. Dependable and honest.
• Ability to work under tight timelines efficiently. Effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high stress workflow. Proficient in data entry.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to work independently and along with teammates. Positive attitude and desire to enjoy the work day.
• This is an on-site position. May change in the future.
