8am - 3pm. Must have flexibility (8hrs/day)

Must be US Citizen or US Person (Green Card holder)

100% ONSITE

Must have motivation, common sense and good work ethic. Tasks/responsibilities will come from the program buyer.

• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis.
• Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Carrying out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest.
• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.
• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
• Prepares requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts. Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Established and productive professional contributor.
• Problems faced are difficult and may be complex.
• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
• Preferred ERP or MRP experience.

• Not specific, will touch most likely all commodities. Majority of parts are machined/sheet metal parts, some vacuum formed parts, lots of hardware and electrical. All other commodities vary in the extent by the program.
• Not in terms of pricing – but negotiations in terms of expedite options if that makes sense.

• Pivot tables, search functions, XLookUps, sorting, filtering.

Bachelor's Required and at least 7+ years of relevant experience working within Supply Chain.
