Procurement​/Purchasing Associates

MSR Technology Group DBA Infomatics has been an Inc 500/5000 corporation for the last 7 years in a row. We have an urgent need for Procurement/Purchasing Associates
, and this is an Onsite role in 11404 Commando Road, Everett, WA 98204. Please find the job details below.

Education: Bachelor's Required and at least 7+ years of relevant experience working within Supply Chain (
** do not need planners)

Experience: NEEDS Purchasing and Procurement experience

• Carries out Procurement processes, standards, and operational plans, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis. Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services to ensure terms are in the organization’s best interest.
• Prepares purchase orders, approves payments, and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance.
• Compiles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
• Prepares requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts. Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Established and productive professional contributor.
• Problems faced are difficult and may be complex.
• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

• preferred, but not necessarily a deal breaker for me – we are using SAP – it would get them started quicker

• not specific, role will touch most likely all commodities. Majority of parts are machined/sheet metal parts, some vacuum formed parts, lots of hardware and electrical. All other commodities vary in the extend by the program
• not in terms of pricing – but negotiations in terms of expedite options if that makes sense

• Pivot tables, search functions, XLookUps, sorting, filtering

• MPI Background working with CI Business
• managing those projects, part purchasing
• Some program management background
