Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Process Technician to join our fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves overseeing a team of technicians, coordinating inbound and outbound processes, and ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and process improvement skills are essential to meet service level agreements and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor, lead and develop a team of technicians with a focus on safety, people, quality, planning and sustainability every day.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service level agreements.
- Facilitate shift handovers and communicate important information to transportation, quality, planners, procurement, and other related departments to resolve problems.
- Provide performance coaching and support to team members.
- Oversee and coordinate inbound and/or outbound processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper equipment usage.
- Monitor and prioritize urgent requests and high-priority tasks.
- Collaborate with your team on process improvements.
- Maintain quality control and accuracy in the warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper inventory management and storage practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain operational efficiency.
As a Lead Process Technician, you will play a vital role in managing daily warehouse operations, working closely with technicians to ensure smooth operations. Your day involves monitoring inbound and/or outbound processes, coordinating inbound receiving and overseeing order fulfillment, while maintaining service level agreements and quality standards. You will act as a key problem-solver, addressing urgent requests and ensuring proper labor distribution across different areas.
The role requires constant communication with various stakeholders to track performance metrics and implement adjustments to meet operational targets.
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Experience working with SAP/ERP systems.
- Experience leading a team.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Physical ability to perform lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying tasks required for the position.
- Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.
- Flexibility to work shift assignments, including overtime and weekends, as required in a 24/7 operation environment.
- Experience in an inventory or analytical role.
- General understanding of lean manufacturing.
- Experience with in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing fields.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency.
- Export Control Requirement:
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. - Must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
The base salary range for this position is 29.00 - 48.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
